The Donut Mill has been a Woodland Park favorite since 1983. Both locals and tourists make the daily stop to try the massive bear claws, donuts, strudel, breakfast burritos, and the famous biscuits and gravy.

The Donut Mill also serves “Blue Bell Ice Cream ” this might be the most celebrated ice cream in the entire State of Texas. The Donut Mill staff claims to actually drive to Texas in order to select and bring back the freshest Blue Bell Ice Cream flavors.

Blues Natural Pet Market and Dog Wash is located in the Gold Hill Shopping Center, right in the heart of Downtown Woodland Park. Blues features locally sourced pet products along with a large variety of dog and cat food.
Blues is also a great place to take your pets in for grooming. They have a dog wash, blowdryers, and offer nail trims.
This is a great place to take care of your pet needs in a local shop and without a drive down to the Springs. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, which makes Blues a great resource for Teller County pet owners.
Drinks in Woodland Park Colorado


BierWerks has been a Woodland Park favorite since 2010. They serve German-style ales and lagers along with a handful of hoppy beers. They have a great but limited menu. They supplement this with a rotation of food trucks.
This is a great spot to stop after a day of hiking, biking, or climbing. The large outdoor fire pit is a great place to sit outside and take in the sights of Woodland Park
Things to do with Family in Woodland Park CO

The Dinosaur Resource Center is a 25-minute drive from the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument. This makes it the perfect stop to prep the kids for a trip to the Fossil Beds. It’s also just really cool and fun! The center features impressive skeletons alongside educational exhibits. Of course, there is a gift shop full of pretty much any dinosaur-related thing you’d ever want. This is a short ride from Colorado Springs and well worth the trip.

Woodland Park has grown into a self-sufficient mountain community over the past 20 years. The addition of Hospitals, Grocery Stores as well as restaurants, and shopping have transformed this sleepy mountain town into a great place to live and visit.
