Check out our top pick for your Fourth of July plans: the "Star Spangled Symphony & Fourth of July Fireworks". This event has been going strong for almost 50 years, combining the Colorado Springs Philharmonic's great music with awesome fireworks shows throughout the community.
When: Friday, July 4, 2025. Gates open at 5:30 PM, local acts start around 6:30 PM, Philharmonic begins at 7:30 PM, and fireworks are expected around 9:00 PM

Kick off the night with local talent from School of Rock and Harrison District 2, then enjoy the Colorado Springs Philharmonic performing hits from Billy Joel, The Rolling Stones, and the 1812 Overture. The evening ends with one of the most spectacular fireworks shows in Colorado Springs. Choose front seats for the best sound, or lawn seating for prime fireworks views.
The following locations will host firework displays, weather, and fire-restriction permitting, with restricted on-site access. These shows will be visible to residents at their homes across the region.

Start the day with a free pancake breakfast, then enjoy a full schedule including the 4-mile Fun Run, a children's parade at 9:30 am, and the main parade at 10:00 am. The downtown Street Fair runs from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm with food vendors, live music, arts & crafts, a beer garden, and a street dance. Free shuttles run between Lewis-Palmer High School and downtown Monument.

The Chamber of Commerce is lining up a great mix of vendors for this street fair. You'll find everything from classic festival foods to artsy stuff, and even get to know some local businesses. Plus, there will be non-profits there too, so you can learn what they're all about.

Head over to Rock Ledge Ranch this Fourth of July for a family-friendly day outdoors. Engage in traditional carnival games in the Barn, and enjoy patriotic music at the Homestead Cabin. Grab a bite at the Carriage House if you get hungry, and explore the ranch's historic sites as part of the day's festivities. Don't forget to stop by the General Store for an old-fashioned soda or popcorn, and maybe pick up a souvenir to remember the day.

This year’s Castle Rock fireworks show will take place on Friday, July 4, 2025, beginning at approximately 9:30 p.m., launched from the former Acme Brick facility on Prairie Hawk Drive. The 15-minute high-altitude fireworks display will kick off with a three-shot salute.

Celebrate the 4th of July and the Green Box Arts Festival in Green Mountain Falls, Colorado! Enjoy yoga, a pie contest, hikes, poetry readings, dance, and live music. The day ends with the launch of water lanterns at Gazebo Lake at 9:00 p.m.
Not to be a party pooper, but here is a little reminder that recreational fireworks are illegal in Colorado Springs and some outlying areas.
