There are some great things to do around the The Farm Neighborhood.


The Gathering Place, a community clubhouse with a beautiful new swimming pool and fitness facility as well as an indoor and outdoor entertainment space, is a great place for residents to meet and socialize. The club has all the digital tools necessary to stay connected, such as email and meeting software.


Lake Ann is a small, private community lake, offering residents some awesome non-motorized recreational opportunities, like Stand-up Paddle Boards and Kayaks. You can also go Fishing in the lake or check out some Paddle Board Yoga. There are miles of trails that wind around the lake.


The Farm is all about community; in addition to organic relationships created, the social committee is hard at work creating events for all ages such as Bunco, Kentucky Derby Party, Casino Night, Super Bowl Party, Tree Lighting, Wine/Beer Tastings, 4th of July Parade, and Food Truck appearances. There is something for everyone on this list.


Conveniently located at the Gathering Place, the pool is the center of activity all summer long with organized events and classes like water aerobics, water jogging, swimming lessons, teen nights, adult swim nights, and outdoor volleyball.

Why is it called The Farm?

The area the neighborhood was developed in used to be a dairy farm. The Gathering Place is the site of the old barn. They also used to breed racehorses on the farm. This is why many of the streets within the neighborhood are named after race horses.

What is a Linear Park?

The Farm's Linear Park System is the first of its kind in Colorado Springs. It features over 10 miles of trails that connect every neighborhood park to other pocket parks in the community, slide, swing, or just sit. The system is also open to anyone who wants to take a hike or bike ride, and it offers visitors a chance to get their heart pumping by going for a morning run or taking advantage of sunset opportunities while out on the trails.

Can I connect to other trails from The Farm?

There are a number of regional trails that can be accessed by more adventurous hikers. The LaForet Trail, for instance, runs for two miles linking The Farm to the 20-mile Santa Fe Regional Trail. Plus, there are numerous other trails connecting Monument to Colorado Springs and beyond. So if you're looking for an adventure, connect to one of these trails!
