The Monument area encompasses two municipalities, the
Town of Monument and the
Town of Palmer Lake. There are actually three lakes in the area, Palmer Lake is located in the Town of Palmer Lake; Monument Lake is located in the town of Monument, and Lake Woodmoor is located in the
