KNOWN FOR...

The Gleneagle neighborhood is located just east of the United States Air Force Academy. Construction on the neighborhood began in the early 1970s with a small townhome development around the old Gleneagle Golf Course and continues today. The golf course has since been sold to make room for new luxury custom homes. Gleneagle is an upscale area with amazing views of The United States Air Force Academy, Pikes Peak, and the Front Range. The neighborhood is located in northern El Paso County, and just south of Monument, Colorado close to both Interstate 25, and Highway 83, the location is convenient to get to both Colorado Springs and Denver.

THE AIR FORCE ACADEMY

The Gleneagle neighborhood has been linked to the United States Air Force Academy since its inception. Retired Air Force Officers purchased the land in the early 1970s that the area was built on. The neighborhood's proximity to The Academy, in addition to on-base shopping, activities, and amenities, makes it a popular destination for Air Force Families. Additionally, you can’t beat Gleneagle as a location to watch the many flyovers and graduation exhibitions that take place at The Air Force Academy.

DID WE MENTION SCHOOLS?

Another big draw to this community are the public schools. The Gleneagle neighborhood is located at the northern edge of the Academy School District #20. District #20 is one of the most desirable districts in the region. The district offers a wide range of programs and activities. Additionally, the district is associated to one of the regions most sought after Charter Schools, The Classical Academy.
