GREAT SHOPPING AROUND...

The Flying Horse neighborhood is located in the Northgate area of northern Colorado Springs. This area derives its name from its proximity to the Northgate of the United States Air Force Academy. The area is experiencing a tremendous amount of retail and commercial growth which makes it a popular option, with the new Polaris point shopping center bringing a whole new type of retail tenant to Colorado Springs. Before all of this development, Colorado Springs residents would drive by this area on their way to Denver for higher end shopping and dining. However, commercial growth in this part of town has eliminated the need to visit Denver and Boulder for shopping or restaurants and allows them stay right here in El Paso County.
