Halloween is back and it is time to get spooky! Once only a holiday for children and candy, Halloween has morphed into a holiday that appeals to everyone. Who knew that adults like to dress up just as much as kids do?

Take the kids for some trick-or-treating and then line up the babysitter to give you a night out while you scream at the local Haunted Houses.

You can find many things to do for Halloween in Colorado Springs, and this guide will help you get started.

Events & Trick-or-Treating for the Kiddos

Churches and community centers are a great place to start especially if you have very young kids that get tired after a few houses. Trunk or treat, or Halloween parties allow families to have fun in a small, safe environment. Here are some additional places you can start your Halloween fun.

Boo at the Zoo

The Boo is happening at the Zoo with spooky treat stations, a haunted house, and some animal exhibits. Tickets are available ONLINE ONLY; no walk-up tickets are available.

Spooky Tales with Puppy Tails at Dinosaur Resource Center

Come to the Dinosaur Resource Center for some spooky brews and friendly pups. Wear your costume for the costume contest and get your picture taken with the pups!

Boo at the Bridge

Come over to the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park for some goodies, games, entertainment and treats.

Come and witness a glowing trail of over 7,000 magnificent, hand-carved pumpkins as you stroll through the gardens.

The Fear Complex

Hellscream Haunted House

Voted one of the best around with custom movie quality special effects, amazing actors, unique themes, and extremely detailed sets. You may be hoarse by the end of the evening from your constant screaming in fear!
