Fall is truly a special time of year in the Pikes Peak region with the weather cooling, and the leaves turning, there is still plenty of time to get outside and enjoy the weekend before the winter sets in. To get the most out of the season, here is our favorite list of things to do for fall in Colorado Springs.

Many events have been cancelled or postponed until 2021, but here is the confirmed Springs Homes list of Things to do for Fall in the Colorado Springs area for 2020. Hurry, fall doesn't last very long, so pack in as much as you can in the remaining weekends.

Apple Picking, Pumpkin Patches and Farm Visits

Fall at Chatfield Farms

Come to Chatfield Farms for some fun fall activity. Come enjoy the corn maze, and for the little ones, there is even a mini maze. The 7 acre corn maze will confound you and there will be pumpkins for purchase (no cash or checks please)

Black Forest OktoberFest

You can't say fall without saying Oktoberfest. The Black Forest Brewery is hosting this event and will have many traditional german brews including their Oktoberfest, Bock, Hefeweizen, Dunkel Weizen, Roggenbier and Dortmunder Lager! Brat burn all day Saturday & Biggi's Little Bavaria food truck Sunday.

St Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer

Ending childhood cancer is a worthy journey. This year, it will be held virtually, but for a great cause. Form a team, invite your friends and be a fundraiser for the kids of St. Jude.

Yoga at Rainbow Falls

Guided Birding Hike at Cross Creek Regional Park

Grab your binoculars, your birding friends and head to Hale Reservoir in the heart of the park to pursue all kinds of migrating birds during fall migration. This event is appropriate for adults and young naturalists in 4th grade and up when accompanied by an adult.
